Congregational Leader
Samuel Walker, a Native Californian, came to Paradise, CA after months of prayerfully seeking Yeshua’s direction. While having family devotions Isaiah 55 directed their path to the Pines, the Cedars, and the Myrtles, all trees that they knew are native to Paradise . Within months of arriving Samuel found himself as Youth Pastor to a group of teens in Magalia, CA and filled that position for three years before being encouraged by the Pastor to begin Harei Yeshua. With the Call of ADONAI in his heart, and the support of area Pastors, Samuel Walker, was ordained as the Sr. Pastor Feb.23,2007 by his pastor, Rev. Chaim Urbach of Congregation Yeshuat Tsion, Denver, CO. Samuel graduated from Colorado Christian University , where he studied many subjects incuding Biblical syudies with a Hebrew Language emphasis. He has served in positions of leadership within the Messianic movement since 1989. He has served Yeshua in Israel , Canada , Germany , Russia, Great Britain, Belize, Egypt, Switzerland, Holland, Ukraine, Malta , Hungry, Zimbabwe , Mexico and Across America. Samuel has also lead worship in Colorado, Maryland, and California. Samuel was Nine years old when he gave his heart to Yeshua holding tightly to his Jewish roots at all times. He has been married to Heatherly since 1994; they have six children. Pastor Sam’s wife Heatherly Walker was three years old when she gave her heart to Yeshua in a small town in Italy and began evangelizing immediately. While being Homeschooled she discovered her families Jewish Roots and began incorporating her roots with her faith. She met her husband on the Mission field in Russia, while leading a group of Teens to Estonia . Together she and Samuel have been Missionaries to Germany, Canada, and Mexico . Heatherly has also been on other mission trips that brought her to Israel, Czechoslovakia, Switzerland, and Egypt . In their home she and Samuel have lead people from the unreached people groups within the 10/40 window to Yeshua. She has been teaching Sunday and Shabbat School since 1991 and was a youth leader with Samuel here in Magalia. She has spoken at numerous Retreats, luncheons and Women’s Gatherings about her love for Yeshua. Heatherly homeschools their six children.
