Unity or merging what has G-d called us to.
Alot has been said recently in our culture about multi culturalism. The problem is that sometimes this means a complete blending of cultures with no diversity. When it says in scripture that we are one in Messiah this does not mean that we loose our individuality and become something less than G-d created us to be. The verse in Romans 10:12 does not mean that the Jew and non-jew loose their identity when they become believers, instead their identity become fulfilled or complete. There is no difference as far as how one is made righteous before G-d. Our righteousness come from Yeshua alone not from our jewishness or ability to keep the laws of Torah. G-d created many different people and cultures and they are beautiful to Him. In fact it says that people from all nations and languages will come to the L-rd and be represented in heaven. If we all become the same why does it say this. G-d makes us different for a purpose, so glorify Him whoever you are. |
